Refurbishment & Basement Alteration Works
The existing lower ground floor was lowered and designed to accommodate a living space in-keeping with the upper floors of the house. Restricted to a 2m ceiling height, the space was enhanced with the clever use of linear lighting, and by optimising the limited source of natural light by using double pocket doors which can be left open to create one large area and also glass pocket doors which allow the light to travel through. The basement accommodated a bedroom with en-suite, study/living room space and useful air-conditioned utility / ironing room. The property was partly refurbished and redecorated from the ground floor up.
