Since 2013 Hawkespur has maintained several Independent Schools in London; from ongoing day to day maintenance to larger projects and construction work in the school holidays.

Here are some examples of the work we have carried out during the school holidays over the last year:

• A lower ground floor extension to house a new music room & library
• Replacing and upgrading fuse boards & wiring throughout Grade II listed school buildings
• Installation and upgrade of heating systems & commercial boilers
• Remove and replace spindles of a listed building staircase to increase the banister height for safety
• Designing and making bespoke joinery items for classrooms & playgrounds
• Installation of 12 new multi-unit washrooms
• Upgrading sports & activity grounds, including new astro turf & surrounding fencing
